What you do know is that this event led to the arrival of an alien race called the Xsotan at the galactic core, where they caused innumerable hyperspace anomalies that could not be repaired. They seem to have found a way around the broken hyperspace network, and no one has been able to contact them.

There have been stories of a strange new metal called “Avorion” appearing in the centre of the galaxy almost simultaneously with the arrival of Xsotan. Reports suggest that aliens may have used this material when building their spacecraft.
You have to make your way to the centre of the galaxy, which gets more dangerous and more rewarding as you get closer to it. Taking inspiration from games like X and Freelancer, Avorion features cooperative multiplayer and the ability to create your own spacecraft from the ground up. We’ve added ships that were generated procedurally as well as ships that were lost in space battles due to enemy fire to this list.

How these organisms cope with the claustrophobia of hyperspace dust is a mystery to everyone. The Avorion is a name given to this alien ship because of its unusual metal composition. This strategy has the potential to overcome the advantages of Hyperspace.
