Saurian Download Preview
The endurance simulation computer game Saurian is created and distributed by Urvogel Games. The player takes control of one of six different dinosaurs (including a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Dakotaraptor, Pachycephalosaurus, and Anzu) in a third-person perspective as they try to survive in a climate based on fossil evidence from the Hell Creek Formation.

The player assumes the role of a hatchling in the game, and in order to survive and eventually become like its predators, it must be clever about evading danger and managing its thirst, hunger, and stamina. The landscape is populated by dinosaurs controlled by artificial intelligence, which act in the same ways as the player does in the game. Altering your dinosaur’s appearance and adding genetic flaws like albinism and melanosis will be popular options. Consequences of these genetic modifications on ongoing interactions are the same as those seen in real animals.
