2014 saw the release of Endnight Games Ltd.’s action, adventure, and survival horror title The Forest for the PC. To save yourself, you’ll have to fight an entire tribe of barbarian freaks in the woods as the sole survivor of a train disaster The AI in this game is quite good.

Wild people with clans now populate the game, some of whom may fight if you watch silently, but most of them join in their scorn for the person responsible for clearing their land of trees (you). If there aren’t many man-eaters around, they’ll fight it out anyways.

If you’re a hunter, a scout, or a man-eater, you’re going to face a variety of threats. There are starving barbarians, scouts for larger clans, chasing parties, and man-eaters who are just trying to live their lives peacefully.

In order to avoid attacks, Man-eaters will dodge and move around, climb trees, toss flaming tennis balls at you, and wreck your base if you aren’t careful. However, they will also do things like drop representations that you can find them asking at when left continuous, drag their injured out of the fight if they can, and run off to recover others if you let them escape.

Features:

Protect yourself against a group of hereditary freak foes who have beliefs, families, and morals, and who appear to be human in appearance.
Covertly evade enemies or entice them into combat using crude weapons made from sticks and stones.
