The Hunter is a franchise of casual video games developed by Expansive Worlds and published by Avalanche Studios. The package’s main attraction, theHunter, was developed and released by Emote Games and Avalanche Studios in April 2009. Expansive Worlds is an Avalanche Studios spinoff that was formed specifically to work on the Hunter franchise.

In March of 2015, Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios released theHunter: Primal as a standalone expansion. The latest installment in the arrangement, theHunter: Call of the Wild, was released in February 2017 by Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios.

Gameplay:

TheTheHunter games are first-person chasing games that are as realistic as they come when it comes to hunting in the wild. The story opens on an open island with inspiration from many different locations, including the islands of Washington state, the Australian Outback, the French Alps, and more. One can go hunting for whitetail deer, European hare, cottontail bunnies, snowshoe rabbits, and chickens, to name a few. There is no fee required to participate in the game.

Users start by making a character on the game’s website, which features communication and event notification tools for the virtual community. To make a new character, pick a face from the collection and give it a catchy name. Once the tutorial is finished and a character is created, the player can pursue and complete objectives and earn one of two types of gm$, the game’s in-game currency. After completing the first three whitetail deer quests, you will unlock additional quests from other characters.

The primary mode of interaction involves tracking down and killing animals with the provided firearms and arrows, though a computerized camera is also available for those who prefer to avoid using them. These tracks could be linked to the “Huntermate,” a virtual GPS that can pinpoint the location of animals based on their tracks, poop, nests, bedding, and blood traces, as well as their calls. In TheHunter, pursuing different animals requires different weapons.
