The Long Dark Download: an adventure-survival game where the sole player must rely on their own wits to make it through a vast, icy landscape. Without zombies to worry about, you’ll have to deal with the elements and everything Mother Nature throws at you.
Attributes of the Current Game
In place of the game’s storyless Survival Sandbox mode, The Long Dark is now playable in Early Access. The game will leave Early Access status after Episode 1 of the Story Mode is released.

It’s possible that the studio that came back to us produced a first-person survival game called The Long Dark. You play the part of a United Nations bush pilot who has been evacuated to the Canadian countryside in the event of a worldwide catastrophe.
The Long Dark is a first-person, open-world survival video game. Within the context of a global tragedy, the player takes on the role of a downed pilot trying to make a life for himself in the frozen wastes of Canada (a geomagnetic storm).
To paraphrase the developers, “survival simulation that accounts for blood warmth, calorie consumption, starvation/thirst, fatigue, wind-chill, the natural world, and some of the different environmental variables” best describes the game.
There are two different play modes available to the player: “Story mode” and “Survival mode.” Sandbox (Survival) mode was mandatory for the alpha version, and players could spawn in one of six different areas: Mystery Lake, Coastal Highway, Pleasant Valley, Forlorn Muskeg, Desolation Point, or Timberwolf Mountain. There are passageways linking all of these areas together.
How To Start The Long Dark Download
1. Click on the “Download” button.
2. Select the given option to get download link.
3. Open the Installer, Click Next, and choose the directory where to Install.
4. Let it Download in your specified directory.

- Additional Notes: The game is in an Alpha state and is constantly being expanded and optimized. System requirements are subject to change until the game ships.
