Zork was created between 1977 and 1979, and then released in the 1980s by Infocom as a trilogy for the Apple II, Commodore 64, Macintosh, and other platforms. Given the nature of the story and the parser’s phenomenal development, it is widely considered to be among the best of its kind.

Features:
- The game is set among the ruins of a long-gone realm, deep under the earth’s surface. The player’s goal is to gain both experience and wealth. As a reward for his efforts, he will be awarded the title of “Dungeon Master.”
- Action words and sentences, such as “place the light and blade for the scenario,” “drop all save for lamp,” “take,” “attack,” “climb,” “close,” and “open,” are supported and comprehended by the game. It’s possible to do several tasks using just “n,” “s,” “e,” “w,” “u,” “a,” “I,” and “d.”
- Trilogy: Zork I: The Great Underground Empire (1980, Infocom), Zork II: Wizard of Frobozz (1981), and Zork III: The Dungeon Master (1981) are all included in the Zork Trilogy (1982). It is not currently possible to perform these arrangements in any particular order.
